Kris's 1998 Toyota 4Runner

A Bit About Kris...

What was your first 4x4?

98’ Jeep Wrangler on 35’s w/ 4’’ rough country lift

Whats your current rig?
98’ Toyota 4runner SR5

What was the first trail you ran in this rig?

Saint Joes State Park in Sullivan, Missouri.

Favorite Trail?
Transfer Case Trail @ Moonlight Racing

Favorite Modification?
Currently, my favorite mod is my Whitson Metal Works Roof Rack. There is just something about a roof rack that completes the look.

Worst Stuck?
Worst stuck place had to be on trail #5 at SayersBrook Bison Ranch in Potosi, Mo this past year. It was the 1st Annual Hallowheelin’ Jamboree hosted by Mo4wd and just happened to be the 1st trail of the day and I was the 1st in line of 10+ rigs. Rolled up the entrance of the trail which was pretty sloppy due to a lot of rain, came up on some off camber stuff, and managed to blow a CV axel pretty quickly. After trying to get out of it, I managed to wedge myself between 2 trees sideways. Let’s just say it took 2 winches and some maneuvering to get me off the trail to be able to fix it.
